The most important factor in helping a client transition from dependence on a homeless shelter  to independence is for there to be communication and support among volunteers and advocates.

Blog 9: Lesson 1 Reflections

Content:

1. Positive Statement

What are you most proud of in your Lesson 1 Presentation and why?

I liked that I new my information, I didn't really look at the board, it was more there for the reference of others. My research allowed for this to happen.

2. Questions to Consider
       a.     What assessment would you give yourself on your Lesson 1 Presentation (self-assessment)?

       AE       P          AP       CR       NC

       b.     Explain why you deserve that grade using evidence from the Lesson 1 component contract.
I think I deserve a P because I met all the requirements that were asked for and I made time as well, while being able to keep cool up there.

3. What worked for you in your Lesson 1?
What worked was the fact that I was able to use Prezi, because it kept things organized and more pleasantly aesthetic for my audience.

4.  (What didn't work) If you had a time machine, what would you have done differently to improve your Lesson 1?

I would change my hook and make it more involved with the class as well as more interesting.
